The city of Orenburg, Russia, played host to over 300 young leaders from across Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia at the Eurasia Global International Youth Forum, held from June 24 to 29, 2025.

With the theme centred on international youth diplomacy and cooperation, Russia described young people as the “architects of international friendship,” emphasizing their growing role in shaping a more just, inclusive, and interconnected world.

“Global conflicts, climate crises, and complex international challenges cannot be solved alone. But the youth have found a common language, one that transcends borders,” organizers noted in their opening remarks.

A Hub for Cross-Border Dialogue

Eurasia Global has become a flagship event on the international youth calendar, drawing participants from nonprofit organizations, student networks, expert circles, and grassroots movements. It offers a space where young minds from different cultures and continents come together to propose solutions, form alliances, and initiate cross-border projects that often continue long after the event ends.

From public diplomacy to sustainability, from innovation to human rights, the forum placed youth at the center of global problem-solving. Sessions explored the values and tools that define this new generation of diplomats: fairness, justice, collaboration, and shared humanity.

The Diplomats of a New Generation

Participants didn’t just attend; they led conversations, launched ideas, and built practical solutions. The forum underscored the importance of empowering youth to take the lead on global issues, equipping them with the networks and skills needed to represent their communities on the world stage.

Russia’s declaration of youth as the "architects of international friendship" reflects a growing global recognition: young people are not just the future, they are already shaping the present.

Beyond the Forum

Eurasia Global stands as more than a gathering, it’s a movement of engaged, globally minded youth building bridges where borders once stood. With each edition, the forum continues to create new formats of cooperation, promote mutual understanding, and inspire a generation to act beyond politics and prejudice.

As the world grapples with increasing polarization and complex global challenges, the 2025 Eurasia Forum made one thing clear: the path forward is multilingual, multilateral, and youth-led.
